Scarf Tying

STYLE 1 – EASY PEASY

  1. Hold the scarf in the middle and let drape evenly

  2. Put the whole piece around your neck and put the ‘free end’ through the loop

  3. Pull to a correct length/position

  4. If you need extra warmth, take the ends and take to the back of the neck and tie

STYLE 2 – TAKING IT UP A NOTCH

  1. Hang round neck with one length slightly longer than other.

  2. Take the longer length and put round the neck again forming a loose circle

  3. Take both ends which are hanging down and put them up and over and through the circle

STYLE 3 – THE KNOT

  1. Hang round neck with the left side longer than the right

  2. Tie a loose knot in the middle of the longer length

  3. Put the other length through the knot and adjust as you require

  4. If you want something a bit warmer round the neck first follow 1 and 2 and then loop the right hand length round the neck before putting through the knot.

STYLE 4 - OVER AND UNDER

  1. Hang round neck evenly

  2. Take the right hand length up round the neck – then over the loop and underneath the left hanging length

STYLE 5 – LOOP AND CIRCLE

  1. Fold a scarf lengthways and wrap around the neck

  2. Put one free end through the loop

  3. With the remaining end, tie loosely to the other end to form a circle

STYLE 6 –  THE HOODY

  1. Fold the scarf in half and wrap round the neck so that both ends hang evenly in front

  2. Cross both ends at the centre of the neck and flip them over your shoulder

  3. Pull the  middle of the back of the scarf upward over your head
