This short necklace by Nodova has a magnetic fastening at the front.  It sits just below the collar bone and the leather piece measures a total length of 18" between the pieces.  All Nodova comes in a cotton Nodova bag with a story card - it makes a beautiful and unique gift.
 
Here is what Nodova have to say:   Do you know our jewellery is made from a seed from the Amazonian Forest?  The Tagua, commonly named vegetable ivory.  Nodova is designed in France and all the jewellery is entirely handmade in the north of Ecuador by a cooperative of Kishwa women.  Seeds are worked, and tinted using food pigments, then polished in order to give this unique look to the jewellery.  Selling our jewellery allows us to decently pay those women and to finance scholarships for children from the most penniless families from their village through our association with Avenir Nodova.  Twice a year we travel to meet them enjoying this unique bond we have maintained since 2011.
